SHA is meeting the needs of the families it serves by intentionally connecting families to community resources. The following are a small selection of resources for our residents. For more information on other resources, please reach out to us by phone or come by the office.

 

All Sylacauga Housing Authority apartments are located in the Sylacauga City School System district.

Resident events are scheduled periodically. For questions about SHA-sponsored programs, e-mail the Resident Program Manager.

SAFE (Sylacauga Alliance for Family Enhancement): located within  the Sylavon Court Community (78 Betsy Ross Lane, Sylacauga, AL 35150). SAFE offers a variety of services for all ages. Click here for SAFE's website. Call them at (256) 245-4343.

Public Transportation: Call (256) 249-9085, charges vary by distance and rider's situation. Ask about special rates. Schedule ride 24 hours in advance to ensure service.

 

HUD:
