SHA Announces Youth Development Basketball Camp

The Sylacauga Housing Authority is proud to announce the Youth Development Basketball Camp that will take place June 20-22nd at Verlie B. Collins Community Center. The camp is open to boys and girls 2nd-12th grade.

Through a partnership with Basketball Brotherhood, this three-day camp will provide participants with the opportunity to learn basketball skills and develop leadership abilities. The Basketball Brotherhood’s mission is to strengthen all student-athletes’ academic status through education and life skills training. They are dedicated to improving all student-athletes’ basketball ability through skills training as well as agility, polymeric, and strength training.

Additionally, the Youth Development Basketball Camp will allow for opportunities for volunteers. Volunteers will assist in running drills, setting up, and other various support tasks. This will be a great opportunity to receive volunteer service hours!
