RESIDENT COUNCIL NOMINATIONS

ATTENTION: OPPORTUNITY FOR RESIDENTS TO GET INVOLVED 

Resident Council Nominations:

The Sylacauga Housing Authority (SHA) in conjunction with the Resident's Program Office, is in the process of organizing (2) Resident Councils for Sylavon Court, Sylavon Towers and Drew Court/Virginia West. Residents will receive envelopes with all necessary information regarding this process. A nomination form and self-addressed/stamped envelop has been included for you to mail in your nominations (except for Sylavon Towers who can submit their forms in-house).

The deadline of Wednesday, June 10th, 2020 has been extended to Wednesday, June 17th, 2020 to send in your nominations. Please note that residents can nominate themselves for any or all available positions (President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary).

This is a great opportunity for residents to get involved in their communities and provide a forum for residents to express themselves and bring about ideas and/or suggestions to make their communities a better place to live.
